Hi Gabie, we recommend following our Sourdough Guide for all feeding and maintainence information. Starter itself doesn't have salt in it, but the bread recipes themselves do, including this one. We haven't heard of salty starter before but we imagine that it would just make your recipes a tidge saltier.
