What a great post! Even though I don’t remember baking & cooking with my kids very often, they certainly remember it. My sister baked with them often, and they brought home the goodies. Bonus; free time for Mom and my favourite baker’s treats allin the same day. My kids already have the grandkids cooking & baking—Sunday is grandson(8yo) & my son’s day to cook dinner, trying something different all the time. His sister helps with dinner daily at 4yo, and both their knife skills amaze me. My daughter has my just turned 2 granddaughter peeling potatoes, onions, and baking all the time. Makes this Nonna very proud. (And your recipes look delish, but I must recommend Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster’s Cookie recipe. You simply cannot overwork that dough. I’m sure other Nonna’s out there know the recipe too!l
