This doesn’t describe how the starter is prepared. Is it fed and left on the counter and placed in the fridge at peak? Is it fed and placed directly back into the fridge? Does the starter need to be brought to room temp before the feed? My discard is just whatever is left over after I pulled some out for a feeding, so it’s not something that I fed once a week (or ever). Wish there was more detail on this!
