Hi Peter, I agree entirely! I’m a newbie, have baked two loaves so far using existing equipment and it’s worked out so well my husband is a convert! Scales yes for me as a beginner as I still don’t know what good looks like at each stage but the other equipment doesn’t seem necessary, just nice to have
