As a newbie to SourDough baking I've got a newbie question I just can't figure out on my own. As I don't have a pizza stone or a bake steel can I substitute a Soapstone tile that I have left over from my kitchen Reno, with the soapstone sink & counters? The tile is a 12"X12" soapstone sample I wanted to place under my Dutch Oven. Also, thinking of baking directly on the soapstone with just parchment under my loaf-? Thanks!!
