Hi Magalie, using a baking-geared spray may work a lot better for you, such as Everbake or Vegelene, and it may also be either the rings or that the crumpets need to cook a bit further before removing the rings. Lastly. you could slide a ring of parchment into the ring so the batter isn't even or is barely touching the ring itself to make it extra easy.
