Made it last night and came out great, except I forgot to spray with warm water and it probably didn't rise quite as much as it could have during baking, still came out great though. Also my first time slashing bread, didn't get as deep as I could have. So room for improvement.
My question: can I add garlic and herbs to the dry ingredients when mixing the dough for extra flavor and character? If so, any recommendations for which herbs/ how much? Thanks a lot.
