Added two prunes + two dried dates... worked really well. Left the mixture atop the fridge for two days, shaking twice a day, giving the yeast some outdoor air in between. : ) Makes an excellent starter. Using the NYTimes/Mark Bittman recipe. First loaf was very good. Next up, bread with walnuts and raisins.
