At Christmas, my family has a tradition of making crispies. These crispies are a mix of a smashed sweet roll and a cookie. They use yeast to rise but in the end you eventually smash them with a cup and roll them with a rolling pin. It is a family recipe that I won't find anywhere else, but was wondering which type of flour may be best to try and recreate the crispies.
