We can certainly understand that, Lisa! This recipe was modified from the one used in our professional bakery, so some aspects of it, like the overnight levain and sourdough starter, may be challenging for bakers with little bread experience. For a better recipe for bread bakers who are just starting out, we'd suggest looking at our Classic 100% Whole Wheat Bread recipe, which is an excellent first whole wheat loaf to try. Happy baking!
