I'd like to see more recipes for people who bake in a stovetop cast iron Dutch oven. I've been doing this for forty years and have tips and tricks if anyone is interested. You can of course do this over a fire when camping. It's really easy on a stovetop where the temp is easier to regulate.

I've been a serious baker for many years and can report on many techniques that are very simple and easy to do for home bakers. I grind my own flour from various whole grains, but of course that's impractical for most people. If that interests you, there are some really good and affordable manual flour mills now. King Arthur flours are the choice for the professional bakers I know, and it's a well-run, old company that makes wonderful products and apparently highly respects its workers. Please support this unique company.
