I made this recipe using a fresh sourdough starter that I made 7 days ago. It was full of activity when I scooped out the quantity for the recipe, also floated in water just to be sure. I followed the recipe exactly, after shaping, it went straight to the fridge and after 12 hours, there was no change in size at all. I waited until 15 hours and then I baked it with cold dutch oven. The score lines popped open nicely, but overall loaf size remained more or less the same, maybe it expanded like 10%? I tasted it, and the taste was good, distinctively sourdough. Was wondering if anyone can offer any advice? My first guess is that the starter was not working properly so I have already started to test it by feeding a small portion with fresh flour and water.
