This loaf is absolutely beautiful. I am very much so, a beginner (this was my 4th loaf and time using my newly created starter) and found this incredibly easy to make. With my other loafs I’ve used a baking stone, but went for it with the Dutch oven I received this last Christmas. I’m officially a convert! Deliciously crispy, moist, chewy, and with those wonderfully rich flavors of walnut and fig. This will definitely be a regular bake of mine and likely to be a common token to friends and family.
