OK, I made these yesterday for my wife to take to work. The picture on the recipe page is reminiscent of the "Cool Whip-boxed cake mix" cookies from the 70s, which grabbed my interest. This is definitely not that cookie, which I knew as soon as I saw 3 eggs in the recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, but I had to use my smallest scoop ( which happens to be a heaping teaspoon, as the recipe suggests ). It's a hair under an inch in diameter...nowhere near 1 1/4 inches, and even using it I only got 33 cookies, and I had to "scant" the scoop to get that. My cookies were on average, a little over 2 inches, but not a full 2 1/4. At 12 minutes they puffed up and looked very much like the recipe picture, but nothing like the pictures on this blog, which do not look "crinkly" at all. Her coworkers said they were light and airy and very good, but I really needed 60, not 33, and time and logistics wouldn't permit that. I'm not sure how these are supposed to look now, but, I don't think I'm going to make them again anyway, since I'm not sure this recipe is correct, and I don't want to use 6 eggs for 60 cookies.
