Nothing says, "love" like a package of homemade chocolate crinkles! These cookies travel quite well, though some of the confectioners' sugar may disappear in transit. If you really want them to have a full coating of sugar upon arrival, you can dust them with snow white non-melting sugar after they've cooled, before packaging (though this may cover up the cracks that formed during baking). Pack them tightly together in a container and then fill up any empty space with crumpled up parchment paper. When you shake the container gently, you shouldn't be able to hear them slide around. If they do, pack in more paper until they're ensure to be safe and snug during transit. Wish them luck and send them on their way!
