I sometimes use Whey-Low sweetener. Developed by a doctor for his diabetic wife. It is made of Crystalline Fructose, lactose monohydrate (milk) and sucrose, so it has 4 calories per teaspoon. Works great for baking, not quite as sweet as sugar, but pretty good!- wheylow.com/
