Hi Miriam, since we're bakers and not medical professionals, we aren't able to determine which recipes will be the best for one's health and recommend discussing that with a doctor or dietician. You mentioned that regular sugar is an option, and if that's the case, PJ linked several blog articles at the bottom of this one about reducing the sugar in various types of baked goods for optimal results which may be useful.
