I have read that agave is safe for diabetics. I use it in my coffee and raw food desserts but have not used for baking. Do look for organic raw agave as it is not processed and does not harbor harmful chemicals. Molasses is loaded with both flavor and nutrients ... would it be safe as a smaller portion combined with agave?
