OMG! So last year when the stolen went on sale I purchased two box mixes. Holy Cow, Batman! I decided to make Thanksgiving stolen, so I took 3 cups of KAF orange peal, and 3 cups of Raisins (yes, for both boxes), and soaked the fruit for three days in brandy with a little orange curaçao. So today I made one batch of the stolen, and refrigerated the remaining fruit. I kneaded in the 3C fruit and 1C pecans. For the filling I had purchased a marzipan bar, thinking it was just marzipan, but it was chocolate covered, so I cut it lengthwise and put 1/2 bar in each stolen, then baked according to the box. OMG! This was WONDERFUL! Thank you KAF for putting these on sale. My neighbors will be loving these!
