I made this last weekend, and it could not have come together any easier! Used my own mix of dried fruit (cherries, apricots, golden and brown raisins, cranberries and dates and soaked them in cointreau). Made my own almond paste, which was delicious! The loaves turned out picture-perfect and tasted absolutely delicious! Gave 2 to neighbors, and am making 3 more today! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe! This is definitely a keeper and one to share with baking buddies!
