Hi Deb. We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying this recipe. This recipe can be made into a loaf, for recipes that have 4 to 5 1/2 cups flour, it bakes around a 2 lb loaf. This recipe having 4 1/4 cups of flour will bake a 2 lb loaf or (2) 1 lb loaves. If baking as a 1lb loaf it will likely take 45 minutes, the oven temperature would remain the same. Happy Baking!
