Toasted sugar marshmallows, yum! Nice work, Carrie. Toasted sugar can end up feeling slightly like brown sugar, though it should be lighter in color. If you stir the sugar in the pan from time to time as it cool, it'll dry out into more of a traditional granulated form. Stirring it as it cools not only helps it dry out, but it also prevents it from solidifying into one big block of sugar. We can't wait to hear what else you make with your toasted sugar. Enjoy!
