Hi Jamie, I wouldn't rely totally on this approach, although you could certainly start there. I would compare some similar cake recipes that offer baking times for the pan sizes you intend to use, which can also give you a good ball park figure for baking time. As always, check early and often whenever you decide to bake it a different sized pan.
