It might vary a bit by the size, the particular recipe, and the room temperature, but in general a baked cake is set enough after 10 minutes of cooling to turn out onto the rack. Going to 15 minutes won't hurt anything, especially if you've lined your pan with parchment to make it easier for the cake to come out. Running a knife or spatula around the edge of the cake to loosen from the pan after it comes out of the oven is a huge help as well. So, all in all you can use your best judgement on timing, but 10-15 minutes should be just fine.
