I am a sourdough Newbie. Today I started my SD starter with the 113g of rye flour and 113ml of water. Stirred it up in a glass container carefully mixing well, but it does not look like any of the pictures of starter on the website. It is quite dark (ok, dark rye, not so concerned) but it is quite dry (here I'm concerned). I can't imagine any bubbling in something so doughy. It looks like cookie dough. Did I mess up with the measurements? Do I continue with the 5-7 days of the process or should I dump and start over?
