i have made the rustic recipe once and am trying it again. i thought it came out great. it did not brown like the picture. am using
king arthur all purpose flour. I followed all directions. i also made a sourdough challah recipe. that also did not brown up. I had painted with egg yolk before baking. i have a wedgewood stove. never had browning problems til. now.
any comments or suggestions.
