This recipe isn’t at all like sourdough bread. I have been making sourdough bread for years but thought I’d try to us one with a little store bought yeast as the recipe calls for. The great natural sourdough flavor is overpowered by that yeasty smell and taste. It isn’t at all crusty like sourdough. It also was raw inside when cooked for only a half hour. I love KAF but just wasted 5 cups of it. I won’t use this recipe (and instructions) again. No more short cuts for me!
