Hi Louie! We're sorry to hear that you're having a bit of trouble getting your sourdough starter going. The starter should be the consistency of thick pancake batter, check out our Sourdough Guide for some helpful tips and visuals. Also, if the enriched flour you're using is bleached that can slow down fermentation and change the consistency — you might not need as much water, as the bleached flour will absorb less. We hope this helps!
