Hi, I am unable to find yeast, which is why I began the starter. I was able to locate some baking powder. 1. Do you think I can just use the starter when it is at its peak (and if so, how long do you recommend letting it rest?) or 2. Os is using baking powder instead of yeast a better option?
Also, am in temporary housing so don't have a dutch oven but do have covered oven safe stainless steel stock style pots. Any advice using them? I also have an uncovered loaf pan as an option.
