Don’t know what went wrong with this recipe, but the cake did not bake all the way through. The center was gooey!
I used a glass pan which was slightly larger than 9 x 13. I baked it at 325 degrees for 45 mins. I started checking it at 35 mins because I expected it to bake faster, but the opposite occurred. I pulled it out @ 45 mins b/c my instant read thermometer read 288 degrees and toothpick check showed only a crumb or two. It was done around the edges about 2 inches in, but the center was really wet. Flavor was excellent, everyone loved it (or said they did). Would like to try it again. Wish I knew what to change.
