What a beautiful pie! I discovered this blog post the day before Thanksgiving and decided to give it a try. I also took the time to layer the apple slices. Both the cinnamon bun top crust and the layering are wonderful enhancements to the presentation both before and after cutting the pie. I used a combination of granny smith and honey crisp apples. Great tasting pie. Thank you!
