Someone gave me a box of pears from their pear tree. They are not quite soft and ripe yet and are already turning brown like they are beginning to rot before getting ripe indide. Do you have any recipes using crisp pears. Perhaps a chutney recipe or marmilade? I'm open to any suggestion. I just hate to see them go to waste.
