Hi there, Pauline! A 9" pain de mie pan fits a recipe with 3 to 4 cups of flour, which makes for a loaf that is about 2-pounds. A larger, 13" pain de mie pan holds a recipe with 5 to 6 cups of flour. We hope this helps and happy baking!
