Hi Dawn, substituting 1 1/2 cups of puréed zucchini for grated zucchini is likely to introduce more zucchini and more moisture to the recipe. For best results I would use the same amount of zucchini by weight as is equal to 1 1/2 cups of shredded zucchini (181-225g), and then purée. If you don't have a scale, substitute the same amount by cups and expect that the cake will likely take longer to bake.
