Hi Kj L, we appreciate your feedback on this recipe and hope your next attempt comes out much better! 375°F isn't as high of a baking temperature as some of our other scone recipes call for, and we do recommend baking the scones in the upper part of the oven (not the top rack; more an upper-middle rack). That being said, home ovens can vary considerably, so feel free to bake at the temperature you think will work best in your oven. Perhaps making slightly flattened mounds will also help the scones bake more thoroughly on the inside.
