I just "put up" a whole bushel of peaches, keeping enough out to make a double batch of peach jam. They look lovely lined up on the new shelves my husband just built for me. They took their place next to my other canned fruits and vegetables, including pears, tomato's, pickled beets, cherries,dill and sweet pickles and other winter goodies. I will have to buy a couple more peaches to make these scones. Thank you for the inspiration.
