I’ve made these biscuits numerous times, but they’ve never come out looking as good as yours! I’ve never managed to get 6 biscuits that size out of this recipe, either (to get six, I have to pat the dough thinner, so they end up quite a bit shorter). I’ve also discovered that both flavor and texture are affected by how long it’s been since I fed my starter; if it’s been a while since the last feeding, the discard can give my biscuits an almost unpleasant taste.
