I am new to the "cornbread scene" and recently stumbled upon your basic recipe, which I decided to try.
Just completed the baking of this cornbread - absolutely scrumptious!!!
I kept to the basic recipe, and then added some our family favorites, namely, smoked ham, green peppers, corn, with a cheddar topping.
Based on the positive outcome of this "baking adventure," I consider this recipe very accommodating, even to a novice like me. And for this reason, I shall be using it again, real soon.
