how would the quick puff pastry do with a pre bake for a recipe such as pumpkin pie or any pie recipe where you want to stay away from a soggy bottom? was this ever tested to be good? I have in the past had my crusts which I pre bake always shrink or pool butter at the bottom of the pie pan and I cant figure out why.
