Are you kidding me, never heard of double/triple strength pure vanilla extract, go to the FDA, single pure is 13.35 ounces of vanilla beans per 1 gallon of alcohol or 0.83 ounces of bean per 1 cup, double or triple bean weight but not alcohol ounces to double/triple strength. The recipe above doesn’t meet fda for even a single fold, you need to weigh your beans, and they all weigh different. Adding more beans will not change the preservation of the extract will will only increase the vanillin extract intensity. I make double/triple all time, stored properly, sterilized everything when putting it together, it should last years. You can buy double/triple strength tons places, Penzys, Beanilla, Pampered Chef just off the top of my head, very expensive, that’s why I make it.
