These are great tips My 15 year old granddaughter really wanted to master the strawberry shortcake so we used this as an editorial. I see the advantage of the square but we had heart cutters and wanted to use those. We put the uncooked biscuits in the fridge for 5 minutes before popping them into the oven.......flakiest layers biscuits ever... We layered them bottom, whipped cream, strawberries, top whipped cream, juice, strawberries and they were just so pretty. We added just a tad of vanilla to the whipped cream. My girl is now confident that she can duplicate this fabulous dessert on her own. Thank you
