Hi! I’d like to make lemon-lime whoopie pies. I’ve looked at the lemon cake recipes and the whoopie pie recipes and am trying to figure out which way to do the conversion. Should I try changing the shape of the lemon cake or the flavor of the whoopie pie? I’m planning to use the lime filling that you have with the key lime whoopie pies. Advice? Would the cake batter spread too much without a pan? Advice for changing flavorings on the whoopie pie batter? It seems like the chocolate pies need the cocoa for structure? Maybe alter the snickerdoodle one?
