I cut the oil by half (I use 3/4 cup) and it's perfect!

I also use baking POWDER instead of soda and once again, it's perfect.

It is the just the right amount of batter to use a 9x13 pan, but I sometimes bake it in two 9 inch bread pans if I want to share half of the cake with the neighbor.

Very nice recipe, once you halve the oil and use the right rising agent. :D
