I’ve been freezing my white whole wheat flour for a while, and it worked well. However, the last bag I purchased developed a bitter taste and smell in about 2 months after freezing. The best by date was sometime in 2024 and I froze it in an airtight container right after purchase. What could have happened? The previous bag was in there a lot longer and never developed a bad taste. Help!
