Hi Sandra, you might want to check with the manufacturer for clarity about shelf life and recommended storage, since they obviously believe that their wheat berries will last until 2025. Storing as you describe, in a mylar bag in a bucket at cool room temperature sounds like a great way to protect your wheat berries, so I wouldn't throw them out. Check with the manufacturer and consider freezing for longer storage.
