Okay - thank you for all the good comments, but I am CONFUSED. I have a 5# bag of KAF Whole Wheat that I have had for a few months. But....the best by date on the bag is 11/10/2020. The blog indicates that the shelf life for this type of flour is six (6) months IF stored in the freezer. My date of purchase and best-by-date on the bag is more than 6 months. There is a discrepancy, not only if stored in the freezer; but what if one doesn't store in the freezer. What is the presumed shelf life if at room temperature in air tight container. I love the whole wheat flour, but use it mixed with all-purpose, and therefore don't go through it quite as fast. Looking forward to more information. Thank you.
