Please keep the paper bags - so much better for the planet.

My main questions is about the big (1") and small (1/4" and smaller) HARD lumps in my last bag of Unbleached All Purpose KA flour. Is it a storage issue? It has an expiration date of October 2020, and I've had it for less than 6 weeks. Do I just crush them, is the flour safe to use? I've never seen anything like it.
