My favorite is a ginormous loaf of bread I baked for Thanksgiving. A relative is severely allergic to ingredients in commerically baked bread/stuffing mix, so I had to make my own bread to turn into stuffing.
Instead of doubling my normal rustic bread recipe, I QUADRUPLED it by accident. (Took the doubled ingredient weights and doubled that again.) My husband wondered why the bread took so long to bake. When it was done, I had a nearly 5 pound loaf, it was half the size of my range top!
