Nice to see we all have slip ups. My spouse wanted to surprise me with just out of the oven chocolate soufflé upon my arrival from work. What I arrived to was the fire department in our home. The finished soufflé slipped out of his hands while removing it from the oven. It spilt into the oven creating steam and smoke which set off the alarm alerting the fire department. No one was hurt, but the firemen had a good chuckle. I was told the soufflé looked wonderful. We salvaged what remained in the dish, it tasted pretty good.
