And this is how one son learned to read the recipe for oatmeal correctly. It’s not one cup of water and four cups of oats. And the other learned not only how to add fractions (2/3 cup plus 2/3 cup is not 2 2/3 cups), but dropping cookies by teaspoonsful does not necessarily mean using a measuring spoon.
